Ahead of Print Policy

The Journal of Integrated Social Sciences and Wellbeing (JISSAW) is committed to the rapid dissemination of high-impact research. Our "Ahead of Print" (AoP) policy ensures that peer-reviewed findings are made accessible to the global academic community immediately after acceptance and production, rather than waiting for the compilation of a full issue.

1. Policy Statement

  • Immediate Online Publication: Once a manuscript has been accepted, copyedited, and proofed, it is published online in the "Ahead of Print" section. These articles are fully peer-reviewed and considered final versions.
  • Permanent Citability: Every AoP article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) immediately. This allows researchers to cite the work instantly, ensuring that authors receive credit for their contributions without delay.
  • Transition to Issue: AoP articles are subsequently assigned to a specific Volume and Issue. While the page numbers may change upon final collation, the DOI remains constant.

2. Benefits for Authors and Society

  • Rapid Impact: This model accelerates the sharing of critical findings (e.g., urgent public health data, time-sensitive social policy analysis, or educational interventions), allowing policymakers and practitioners to apply evidence-based insights immediately.
  • Quality Assurance: Speed does not come at the cost of quality. All AoP articles undergo the full double-blind peer review and ethical screening process in strict alignment with COPE’s Principles of Transparency.
