Publication Charges

To ensure the sustainability of high-quality open-access publishing, the Journal of Integrated Social Sciences and Wellbeing (JISSAW) levies an Article Processing Charge (APC) only upon the acceptance of a manuscript. There are no submission fees. The APC is set at PKR 50,000 for authors based in Pakistan and $220 USD for international contributors.

JISSAW operates strictly on a non-profit model. These charges are calculated solely to cover the essential costs of editorial management, the double-blind peer-review process, digital archiving (DOI/preservation), and web maintenance. All funds will be reinvested directly/indirectly into the journal’s operations/management to maintain rigorous academic standards and broad dissemination.

Source of Funding

JISSAW is a self-financed, independent scholarly journal. It is not owned or financially supported by any university, government agency, or private institution. All operational expenses are covered exclusively through the Article Processing Charges (APCs) received from authors. This financial independence ensures complete editorial autonomy and protects the journal from any external influence, strictly adhering to COPE’s principles of editorial independence.
